Party Central Committee and Head of Party Central Committee Cabinet Bounpone Bouttavong has urged the management of the People’s Supreme Courts at both central and provincial levels to pay greater attention to improving the organizational structures of regional, provincial and central (Vientiane Capital) People’s Prosecutors Offices .

Addressing a review nationwide meeting of the People’s Supreme Court on 8 January 2013, Head of the Party Centre Committee Cabinet urged the gathering that the implementation of prosecutors must be in a stringent manner, reducing malpractices and law violation among the party members, civil servants and general public members.

He also urged the management of the People’s Supreme Courts to focus on addressing problems regarding personnel management, saying the matter was a decisive issue of the prosecution affairs.

“In general, the staff structure of the prosecutors system comprises mainly of young staff who are yet to be experienced and have a limited knowledge of party policy and state laws,” said Mr. Bounpone.

“I am very pleased to learn that, over the past one year, the management of the People’s Supreme Court has paid attention to translating into reality the resolutions of the 9th party congress and the 3rd party cell congress of the People’s Supreme Court, as well as the decentralisation policy of the party, also known as Sam Sang policy, and the public education of laws for people of all ethnics,” said Mr. Bounpone.
