Govt pays attention to children’s education

(KPL) The government has paid attention to promoting and improving the education for children both in rural and urban areas especially through developing schooling infrastructure and mobilizing foreign funding for such a development, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Thongloun Sisoulith.

Giving an interview on Children’s Day to the media on Monday, Mr. Thongloun said that besides to mobilizing funding of international organizations for the educational development in Laos the government also promoted the investment in education of private companies through ensuring an access to tax avoidance for the startup.

Mr. Thongloun said that Children’ Day is a national holiday for children across the country and it was aimed to raise awareness of the children to make them gratitude and patriotic.

He urged the youth to behave as a good model for the children because the children would become the force of national construction in the future.

‘Laos is integrating into the international community and this requires the children to have an access to standard education to ensure their competence at international arena in the future,’ said Mr. Thongloun.
