Hai Tai Secondary School has new building

(KPL) Hai Tai village, Sangthong district, in Vientiane Capital on Saturday opened a newly built school building to facilitate the teaching and learning of teachers and students in the village and its neighbours.

The school building construction was commenced in 2009 and completed last week. The one-storey building has five classrooms.

The construction costs 260 million kip, financed by the Banque Pour Le Commerce Exterieur Lao (110 million kip) and local authorities and people (104 million kip).

Present at the opening ceremony of the school building were President of Grassroots Trade Union of the Banque Pour Le Commerce Exterieur Lao, Mr. Khamhou Thongthavy, local authorities and people.

Witnessing the opening ceremony were the BCEL Director Sonesay Sithphasay and Deputy Chief of Sangthong district Khammoun Tiengthalath. Hai Tai village has 230 families of 1,153 people including 574 females.
