(KPL) Luang Prabang Governor Khampheng Saysompheng has urged Nambark district to ensure the allocation of land and permanent jobs for villagers and establishment of development village clusters.
The provincial governor visited the district early this month to learn the socio-economic development in the district, especially its poverty reduction, the improvement of labour skills in agriculture sector, the development of basic infrastructure, education, health, public works and transportation.
He also briefed local people and authorities about key socio-economic development projects of the government namely the over 420-km Laos-China railway construction and Luang Prabang international airport Improvement.
The governor also urged the district to participate in promoting tourism market in the province through increasing their quality service for the visitor and ensure the provision of guesthouses, hotels and restaurants.
