Farmers in Long district trained on crop planting

(KPL) Farmers in three villages of Navone, Mouangkhanh and Sompanetai, Long district, Luang Namtha province, attended a vocational training on vegetable plantation such as lettuce, Chinese cabbages, corianders and legumes.

The trainees learned what kinds of vegetable suitable for planning in particular season, farmland maintenance, bio-extract production and insecticide usage.

In addition to the training, around 20 women in four villages of Houaymor, Phatae, Chakhamping and Doneyeng in Long district have been trained on accounting.

The training course was organized by the women’s union of Long district.
