Khammouane to build health facilities for monks

(KPL) Khammouane province has decided to build health facility at its provincial hospital to provide medical treatment for monks.

A ground-breaking ceremony for the construction project took place at the provincial hospital on December 15 in the presence of Vice-Governor of the province, Mr. Oday Soudaphone, Chief of Thakek district, Mr. Bounsouane Sengdavong, and relevant authorities of the province. The four-billion-kip construction project is expected to take 24 months and be carried out by the Khammouane Housing Design, Survey and Construction State Enterprise.

The basic development project is financed with donation and contribution of various sectors in the province and international organisations.

The Saysamouth family has presented 25 million kip to the local authorities to contribute to the construction project.
