Ilay Primary School has new classrooms

(KPL) Ilay village, Nasaithong district, Vientiane Capital, on Wednesday opened a newly built school building to facilitate the education of children in the village and its neighbourhood. The construction of the primary school commenced early this year and was over this month. The school building has eight classrooms and one office. The school has been equipped with educational materials and appliances.

This school construction is valued at US$ 90,832, financed by the Koshinkai Corporation (US$ 68,000) and the Foundation for Educational Promotion (US$ 22,000). Present at the opening ceremony of the primary school were Chairman of the Koshinkai Corporation, Dr. Tsumimoto Yoshitoshi, and Director of Vientiane Capital Education Service, Mr. Somphou Keopanya, Minister of Education, Mr. Phankham Viphavanh, and President of the Foundation for Education Promotion, Mr. Somphien Sayadeth, and local authorities and villagers.

On the same day, Chairman of the Koshinkai Corporation Tsumimoto presented 20 computer sets, educational equipment and 1,000 US$ cash to the school.
